West Ham have been credited with reported interest in Burnley’s Josh Brownhill – and some Hammers fans on Twitter have given an extremely positive response to the speculation.
David Moyes’ side are being linked with the midfielder at their Premier League rivals.
According to TEAMtalk, Burnley may have a sizeable task on their hands trying to keep Brownhill at Turf Moor beyond this season due to his impressive performances.
It is explained that the 25-year-old is being scouted by West Ham, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton.
Brownhill, who earns £40,000-a-week (Spotrac), is an ever-present in the Burnley XI when fit and one of their most consistent performers.
He’s a technical central midfielder by trade that is great with the ball at his feet and is an excellent passer, but he’s shown he can slot in as a right-winger too.
His high work-rate off the ball makes him a vital part of the system and he was previously in the academy at Manchester United.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media feel that the Burnley mainstay may be a great addition at the London Stadium.
It’s unclear on if the Hammers will step up interest in him, but he’s an all-action midfielder that looks comfortable at top-flight level and perhaps he’d get more recognition if he was playing at a bigger club.
