Marcus Browne has returned from his loan spell with Oxford United – and some West Ham fans were ecstatic on Twitter to see him training.
The 21-year-old was pictured (official Twitter) in training for the Hammers, while Jordan Hugill and Sam Byram were also shown following their returns from loan deals.
Browne has spent the season in League One with Oxford, where they finished mid-table in 12th.
The attacking midfielder joined them in search of regular first-team action and certainly got that, becoming a key player for them during the course of the campaign.
He made 44 appearances across all competitions for Oxford, scoring nine goals and supplying five assists in return.
He’s a versatile ace that is extremely technical and can play in the centre of the park, but has also been effective out on loan on the wing with his pace and power.

A selection of Hammers fans on social media were thrilled to see Browne in training and feel he could be part of their first team next season.
The English playmaker is a product of the West Ham academy and is extremely highly-rated.
Senior manager Manuel Pellegrini was rewarded when he put his faith in academy graduate Declan Rice this campaign and perhaps Browne can be the next to follow in his footsteps.
