Manuel Lanzini started in West Ham’s defeat to Sheffield United on Friday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter destroyed him for his performance.
David Moyes’ team suffered a 1-0 away loss at Bramall Lane in the Premier League fixture and it means they stay just two points above the relation places.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United are up to fifth in the league table courtesy of Oli McBurnie’s second-half winner.
McBurnie’s winning goal came after a mistake from Hammers goalkeeper David Martin, who had to replace injured teammate Lukasz Fabianski early in the contest in net.
Robert Snodgrass also thought he had scored a stoppage time equaliser when his shot bounce in off the post, but VAR harshly ruled it out due to a handball in the build-up from Declan Rice.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media were left fuming with Lanzini for his contribution in the latest defeat.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder once again failed to make the difference for the Hammers and he’s yet to score in 15 appearances this season.
He saw one long-range free-kick denied by goalkeeper Dean Henderson, but a real poor moment was when he ignored an easy pass to unmarked teammate Sebastien Haller and took on a shot from a much tighter angle.
