West Ham fans respond to Michail Antonio message on Twitter

Michail Antonio has posted a message on Twitter thanking fans for the backing since his return from injury – and some of the club’s supporters have responded with plenty of kind messages.

The 29-year-old is currently starring in the Hammers team and is a real fan favourite around the London Stadium at present.

He’s only played eight senior games across all competitions this season due to a hamstring injury, but he’s been back around the group for the past month and is making a big impact on the side.

The English attacker has added some extra dynamism in the final third and it looks like he could get the best out of teammate Sebastien Haller too.

Antonio posted a message on social media and is looking ahead to a crucial Christmas fixture run-in.

“Want to say a massive thank you for the support I’ve had since I’ve been back, means so much to me. Big few weeks ahead, let’s go!!!” Antonio wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side face still have Crystal Palace and Leicester City to face in 2019, while they kick off next years with league fixtures against Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

They are currently four points above the drop zone and could do with a string of wins to help drag them up the table.

There is no doubt that Antonio’s presence in the XI has given the side a massive boost and his incredible work-rate is infectious.

He is a powerful runner that is so hard to stop when he gets going and is strong in the air too.
