West Ham fans reply to loanee Nathan Trott on Twitter

AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper Nathan Trott expressed his delight on Twitter at being included in a League One team of the week – and some West Ham fans responded to their loanee with plenty of positive comments.

The 20-year-old was thrilled to be included in’s team of the week despite his team’s defeat.

AFC Wimbledon saw a three-game winning streak end with a 1-0 defeat away to Burton, where they saw their standards slip and the scoreline would have been a lot harsher if not for the goalkeeper.

The youngster is beginning to make a big impression in League One and is getting the first-team minutes he needs for his development.

Trott is an exciting youngster that exited West Ham on a season-long loan in the summer and has managed to become the number one for AFC Wimbledon.

He’s impressing during his first taste of senior action and will hope there is a path that leads to Manuel Pellegrini’s team

Lukasz Fabianski is the number one option at the London Stadium and is currently sidelined through injury, while his understudy Roberto has been mixed since stepping into his spot.
