A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the London Evening Standard claiming that the Hammers are continuing to monitor Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
Signing a new goalscorer looks set to be a priority for David Moyes’s men. It has been a remarkable campaign at the London Stadium. However, none of their players have reached double figures for league goals.

The London Evening Standard reports that West Ham wanted to sign Nketiah in January. However, Arsenal decided to reject all offers for the 21-year-old.
But the report claims that the Irons have continued to track the striker. And it is suggested that Arsenal may be more willing to let him go with Folarin Balogun signing a new contract at the Emirates.

It has been a difficult season for Nketiah in North London. His only Premier League goal came back in September – incidentally against the Hammers.
So you can understand why some West Ham fans are not convinced about whether he would be worth signing. However, others believe that he could be worth the gamble.
Nketiah is the England under-21 international’s all-time leading goalscorer. And he has shown promise in the past. So some think that he could be an exciting addition.
