West Ham are being linked with Jordan Larsson at Russian top-flight club Spartak Moscow – and some Hammers fans on Twitter have reacted positively to the transfer speculation.

According to Goal, West Ham and European powerhouses Borussia Dortmund are both interested in the 23-year-old.

It is explained that German and Champions League club Dortmund are weighing up a move for Larsson amid uncertainty around the future of their world-class striker Erling Haaland.

With Dortmund’s name in the mix for his signature, it’ll be interesting to see if West Ham can truly compete for his signature.

David Moyes’ side are enjoying a superb campaign in the Premier League, and if they can squeeze into the Champions League positions with a strong end to the campaign then surely they can attract top players.

Larsson is still very much a developing talent, but he’s enjoyed a sharp rise this year.

The Swedish centre-forward has 12 goals and five assists in just 24 games across all competitions this season.

A selection of Hammers supporters on social media are optimistic about the quality of the newly-linked target.

There is no doubt that the Irons squad is crying out for a recognised striker, as they are left thin on the ground whenever Michail Antonio is out injured for them.
