West Ham are reportedly interested in Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have insisted they won’t be able to attract him in the summer if they get relegated this season.
According to the Mirror, the Hammers are keen on trying to sign the 25-year-old in the summer window.
The report explains that the Scotland international will be in demand with Liverpool and Arsenal linked, as his contract with Bournemouth runs out at the end of this campaign.
Fraser isn’t having his best individual campaign at Bournemouth right now and has been directly involved in just four goals in 26 appearances.
But the quick left-winger had eight goals and 15 assists under his belt last term across all competitions.
A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are so downbeat about their relegation battle that they are already ruling out a move for Fraser.
David Moyes’ team were beaten heavily 4-1 away to Leicester City on Wednesdays night in the league and it means they are only outside the bottom three on goal difference.
It doesn’t look good right now for the Hammers, as they face Liverpool twice and also Manchester City within their next four league fixtures.
They have to ensure they take off points around the teams around them and their summer business will of course be determined by which league they are in.
Here are some West Ham fans reacting to the Fraser speculation:
