West Ham United beat Aston Villa 2-1 to secure a third successive Premier League victory. Jarrod Bowen headed home the winning goal after a delightful Said Benrahma cross, just 30 seconds after his introduction.

The first half had been pretty even. Angelo Ogbonna gave the hosts a lead after just two minutes, with Villa star Jack Grealish restoring parity after 25 minutes of the contest.

West Ham have been ticking along nicely under David Moyes though and are now up to the dizzy heights of fifth in the Premier League table.

On another night the Hammers might have had to settle for a share of the spoils, with yet more VAR controversy which on another day might have given the Villans either a goal or a penalty.

The performance of Benrahma was one which really caught the eye though, with supporters raving about his impact after stepping off the bench for the second half.

Benramha, 25, will cost the Hammers £30 million after his initial loan and he created an assist for the second game running that he has featured in.

He is yet to start a game for the East Londoners but on this showing, he looks to be edging close to a starting eleven berth.

West Ham fans were delighted with his impact and took to Twitter after the game. Here is what supporters were saying about the Algerian.
