West Ham United star Michail Antonio could be out for as long as four months after undergoing successful hamstring surgery.
The Evening Standard report the Englishman is looking at a somewhat lengthy spell on the sidelines, after sustaining the injury against Newport County in last week’s Carabao Cup clash.

It is a major blow for the 29-year-old, who had made a bright start to the new season for the Hammers.
Following the sale of Javier Hernandez to Sevilla, Antonio’s versatility would have been ideal for Manuel Pellegrini, who must now explore ways to replace the star.
Thankfully Andriy Yarmolenko is back in the picture now and may be able to provide some cover in attack as well as out wide.
The Ukraine international scored his first goal in nearly a year against Norwich City at the weekend, after being sidelined with an Achilles injury.

Perhaps Pellegrini will see this as an opportunity to turn to 22-year-old Xande Silva, the Portuguese youngster who was signed last year. He is expected to return to full fitness in October and has impressed for the U23s.
