West Ham attacker Nathan Holland has completed a loan move away from the London Stadium – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are delighted with the news.

The Hammers confirmed on their official website that the 21-year-old has joined League One outfit Oxford United on loan for the remainder of the season.

He will now taste his first loan spell away from the club and it should help with his development.

The left-winger has played 18 games this season at Under-23 level, scoring 14 goals and supplying eight assists in return.

Holland has been given three senior appearances this campaign too, but a loan deal looks like the best step for his career.

He’s joining an Oxford team that thrashed West Ham 4-0 earlier in the season during the third round of the Carabao Cup.
