According to a report by the Daily Mail, Chelsea may offer West Ham the services of Fikayo Tomori as a makeweight in the race to sign Declan Rice.
The £70 million rated midfielder is set to be the subject of interest in the summer, with Chelsea keen to sign him.
Tomori is currently nursing an injury which is stopping from Frank Lampard from selecting him.
The England international played under the Chelsea boss during a fruitful loan spell at Derby County last season.

Rice has been identified by Lampard as someone who could slot in at centre-back, according to the report.
Despite playing most of his football at the Hammers in midfield, the Blues boss clearly wants to utilise him elsewhere.
Whether the Hammers take the bait as far as a loan deal for Tomori is concerned, remains to be seen.
The youngster looks set for a bright future but West Ham fans might be expecting someone slightly better as a sweetener.
Following news that the club are looking to potentially offer the defender, West Ham fans have been discussing whether they’d fancy such a deal on Twitter.
It would seem that the majority of fans are not keen on the idea and have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration.
