West Ham are being linked with a possible loan move for Arsenal defender Rob Holding – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have reacted positively to the speculation.
The Sun reports that West Ham are preparing an offer to sign the 24-year-old on a season-long loan.
It is understood that the Hammers will offer to pay £5million to sign the centre-back on loan this season and Arsenal may be open to him leaving the Emirates Stadium due to the competition in their squad.
Holding is a no-nonsense defender that started in Arsenal’s opening day victory against Fulham, but it’s unclear on if he will be apart of Mikel Arteta’s best XI when all of his centre-backs are available to him.
The Englishman hasn’t been a nailed-on starter under Spanish boss Arteta and West Ham could be about to try lure him to the London Stadium for a season.
He’s a ball-playing centre-back that needs better luck with injuries, but on his day he’s a top Premier League performer that can read the game well and play out from defence.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are confident that the Arsenal centre-back would be a good fit with them and are keen for the deal to be completed this summer.
