West Ham fans react to Alex Kral reports

A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports over the weekend linking the Hammers with a potential move for Alex Kral this summer.

David Moyes’s men are now able to make plans for the Europa League after securing sixth spot on the final day of the Premier League season.

Moyes’s second spell at the London Stadium has been remarkable. And what has been so impressive has been the signings that the Irons have made since his return.

Of course, the standouts from those brought in permanently are Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal. And it seems that West Ham are looking to perhaps repeat that trick in the coming months.

The Sunday Mirror (23/5; page 74) reported at the weekend that the Irons want their Czech Republic teammate Kral.

It is suggested that the Hammers previously targeted the 23-year-old in January. But after failing to sign him on that occasion, they are back in the running and looking to complete a £14 million move.

The Mirror noted that Kral remains good friends with Soucek and Coufal. He has also labelled West Ham’s performance this season ‘amazing’.

‘Would love it’

And it seems that many of the Hammers fans would be delighted to see him join the club.

He is young enough to improve considerably having just enjoyed a superb season in holding midfield with Spartak Moscow.
