A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from Sky Sports on Wednesday suggesting that the Hammers have made a bid for Wesley Fofana.
The Irons supporters have had to deal with an incredibly frustrating summer. David Moyes is yet to add a new face to his ranks.

And the size of the challenge ahead has been made abundantly clear in their opening two games of the new season.
That is perhaps why West Ham seem to have stepped up their attempts to make a new signing. According to Sky Sports, they have made a £33 million bid for Fofana.

The report suggests that £23 million has been offered up front. Meanwhile, St Etienne could earn a further £10 million in add-ons.
Sky notes that West Ham – who are also after James Tarkowski – have made the highest bid for Fofana so far. So it will be interesting to see whether their offer sees the 19-year-old end up at the London Stadium.
For the fans, there appears to be a mixture of excitement and pessimism on social media. Some are not hopeful that he will end up joining the club given their lack of success in the market so far.
However, others believe – if a deal can be done – he could prove to be a fantastic signing. He looks to have an incredibly bright future ahead. And he would be an excellent addition to the backline if he did join.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…
