A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail over the weekend claiming that the Hammers want Sasa Kalajdzic this summer.

Kalajdzic has bounced back from a tough first year at Stuttgart this season. He spent the large majority of the last campaign out with an injury.

But he is now making up for lost time. He has scored 12 goals in 23 Bundesliga games. His record immediately becomes all the more impressive when you consider that he has only started 13 times.

The Daily Mail reports that the Irons are battling the likes of RB Leipzig and Roma for the 6ft 6ins 23-year-old. Stuttgart would reportedly want £15 million for him this summer.

The report has been met by a mixed reaction amongst some West Ham fans. However, a few more seem to be excited about the idea of the Irons signing the Austria international.

His record this season is hugely impressive. And he is deceptively quick and mobile considering his height, so he would seemingly tick a lot of boxes for a lot of sides.

Some have concerns that he may endure some of the same struggles that blighted Sebastien Haller’s spell at the London Stadium. But most appear to believe that he could be a very good signing if he does arrive this summer.
