A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Fabian Balbuena’s performance as the Hammers secured a point from their clash with Manchester City on Saturday.
David Moyes’s men are continuing to impress. And they are now unbeaten in their last four league games, having drawn with Tottenham and City in their last two fixtures.

The comeback last weekend will be remembered for a very long time. But the performance against the Cityzens – over the full 90 minutes – was surely a lot better, with Michail Antonio giving the home side the lead.
City did manage to equalise. But a heroic defensive display saw West Ham ensure that they would deny the visitors the win.

And Balbuena – who earns £40,000-a-week at the London Stadium, according to Spotrac – was one of those at the heart of their superb performance. There were a couple of occasions that he would be disappointed with, but many fans have claimed that it was a significantly better display from the centre-back.
As shown by Whoscored.com, he managed a staggering 10 clearances. Tomas Soucek was the player to make the next highest number, and he only made four.
Meanwhile, he managed three interceptions. Declan Rice was the only player on either side to make more.
And plenty have taken to social media to laud Balbuena’s performance. Several insisted that it was reminiscent of when he has been at his best for the Hammers.
