West Ham fans react on Twitter to Emi Buendia interest reports

A number of West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Sunday Mirror (2/5; page 72) claiming that the Hammers are monitoring Emi Buendia.

And the Sunday Mirror (2/5; page 72) suggests that Buendia is on their radar. The Norwich City star has been outstanding in the Championship this season.

The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals and provided 16 assists for the Canaries as they won promotion at a canter.

It must be noted that Buendia will not come cheap either. Goal reported earlier this season that his asking price is set to be around £40 million – and that was before Norwich confirmed their place at English football’s top table next year.

And that may explain why plenty of West Ham fans have their doubts about their chances of signing Buendia.

Many have lauded the attacking midfielder and suggested that he would be a brilliant signing. However, they cannot see West Ham being the ones to win the race for his signature.

With that in mind, here is how some of the Hammers fans have reacted to the links…
