West Ham United have opened talks to sign Bournemouth star Josh King, according to The Telegraph.
David Moyes looks set to beat off competition for the £10 million-rated player who has starred for the Cherries in recent seasons.
The Hammers had been keen to bolster their ranks before Monday’s deadline but have now been forced into the Football League market.
The 28-year-old has scored 17 goals in 48 appearances for Norway and can play in a number of advanced roles.

King is known for his work rate and his ability to bring others into play with his main strength being his hold-up play.
Last season he scored six times and registered four assists as Bournemouth were relegated from the Premier League.
King has proved a fan favourite at the Vitality Stadium and in 171 appearances for the club he has netted 50 goals and claimed 17 assists.
Following the latest news on King and the possibility of him heading to West Ham, supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
Plenty of supporters would welcome another forward and the versatility of King seems to make him popular too.
