West Ham are being linked with Sparta Prague teenager Adam Hlozek – and some Hammers fans on Twitter have responded by claiming they would be keen on signing him.

90min claims that West Ham are eyeing a potential move for the 18-year-old at Czech top-flight club Sparta Prague.

It is explained that the Hammers are considering a swoop during the January transfer window for him, plus they could have an edge in the fact that they already have a strong Czech representative at the club with both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

The report states he’s likely to cost £20million to sign and his talent has seen him attract interest from Champions League duo Juventus and Borussia Dortmund already.

Hlozek is currently sidelined with a foot injury until March, but he’s shown plenty of quality during his brief first-team career.

He’s played 69 senior games for Sparta Prague since coming through their academy, scoring 17 goals and setting up 18 assists.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media have suggested that targeting youngsters is what they need in the transfer window to try inject bring the average age of the squad down.

With Sebastien Haller’s sale to Ajax announced on Friday, it leaves the team extremely short of options in the final third and the fact Hlozek is sidelined with an injury should effect the club’s thinking.

Here are some Hammers fans discussing Hlozek:
