England manager Gareth Southgate announced his squad on Thursday for upcoming international games – and some West Ham fans on Twitter were left shocked that their defender Aaron Cresswell has been overlooked.
England boss Southgate has named a squad for World Cup qualifiers later in March.
There are two West Ham representatives, with central midfielder Declan Rice taking his usual spot in the Three Lions squad.
Additionally, in-form attacker Jesse Lingard has earned a recall to the national side, after a real return to form since his loan move to the London Stadium midway through this season from Manchester United.

A selection of Hammers supporters though on social media have voiced their major frustration at Cresswell’s absence in the England camp.
He has earned three senior international caps in the pat, but hasn’t been with the squad since 2017.
The 31-year-old is an attack-minded left-back who’s been in brilliant individual form for David Moyes’ side this campaign.
He’s already chalked up seven assists in the Premier League to date, plus he slots into a left-sided centre-back role so effortlessly whenever West Ham decide to switch formation from a back four to a back three.
