West Ham fans react as Liverpool reportedly in talks to sign Jeremy Ngakia

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United defender Jeremy Ngakia this summer as the right-back’s contract expires at the end of the month – and Hammers fans have reacted on Twitter.

Ngakia, 19, has broken into the Hammers side this season as Pablo Zabaleta and Ryan Fredericks struggle to either gain momentum of stay injury free. Ngakia has clocked up four Premier League appearances for West Ham.

But with his contract expiring in June, West Ham have attempted to keep the young defender. Indeed, Read Liverpool state the Hammers have offered Ngakia a new deal – but that has been rejected by the player and his representatives.

West Ham have until June 23rd to announce an extension until the end of the season for loan players and out of contract stars, including Ngakia. But it seems increasingly likely that the right-back will be departing West Ham on June 30.

Read Liverpool claim Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of a number of Premier League clubs looking to sign Ngakia, and Liverpool are in talks to lure him to Anfield on a free transfer – though a compensation fee will be required.

Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Ngakia is in talks to sign for the Premier League leaders, and Hammers fans are worried that they have seen the last of Ngakia.
