West Ham United have reportedly joined Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Manchester United in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielfder Idrissa Gueye this summer – and Hammers fans have responded on Twitter.

Gueye, 30, has enjoyed a decent first season with Thomas Tuchel’s side – clocking up 34 appearances in all competitions and helping his side win French league title as well helping the cash-rich outfit reach the Champions League final.

But towards the end of the season, Gueye lost his place in the starting line-up with niggling injuries limiting his momentum. It saw Gueye remain an unused substitute during the Champions League final.

Gueye, who has three years remaining on his £110k-a-week (Le10Sports) contract, is now considered the ‘most likely’ player to leave PSG with Leonardo keen to offload the former Everton midfielder – as per the latest report.

Indeed, Le10Sport now say that West Ham and Palace are considering moves for Gueye, who has previously caught the attention of Wolves and Manchester United. Whether he can be convinced of a move remains to be seen.

West Ham supporters through are very keen to see their side complete a deal for Gueye in the coming weeks, with many stating he would be a “massive signing” for David Moyes’ side as they look to do a lot better than last season’s campaign.
