West Ham United are reportedly battling Aston Villa in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose with the England international’s future at Spurs seemingly over – and Hammers fans have responded.
Rose, 30, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham after returning to the club following a half-season loan spell at Newcastle last term. Spurs are expected to complete the signing of Sergior Reguilon from Real Madrid on Friday.
French website Le10Sport claim that despite Juan Bernat’s injury, PSG will not make a move for Rose – but that Aston Villa, West Ham and Italian side Genoa are all interested in signing the 29-time England international in the coming weeks.

West Ham currently boast Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell as options on the left side of the defence under David Moyes. But both players have come under criticism from supporters of late, with both far from their best form.
The Shields Gazette claim that Spurs want just £5million for Rose given that they now boast Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon, Dennis Cirkin and then Reguilon as options on the left side of the defence. He earns £60,000 a week (Spotrac).
West Ham supporters reacted to the reported news that the Hammers are interested in raiding Tottenham for outcast Rose despite competition from Villa – and many fans of the east London club would be open to signing Rose.
