West Ham United have reportedly compiled a three-man striker shortlist ahead of the summer window and Chelsea attacker Tammy Abraham sits at the top of that list – prompting plenty of reaction from Hammers fans on Twitter.
Abraham, 23, could be on the lookout for a new club in the summer. He has clocked up 30 appearances for the Blues this summer, but has only started 18 of those matches as he continues to compete with Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud.
That might tempt £58,000-a-week (Spotrac) striker Abraham into a move in the summer, and The Daily Star claim West Ham are interested in the England ace. But he is not the only striker West Ham have on their summer shortlist.
Two others are being eyed by the Hammers. Indeed, Brentford’s 25-goal hitman Ivan Toney is being considered by the East London side – while Arsenal’s out-of-favour forward Eddie Nketiah is also an option, as he struggles for game time.
West Ham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Abraham has emerged as a target for Moyes ahead of the summer window, and many think he would be a good signing for the Hammers.
One fan even claimed that Moyes would turn Abraham – who has scored in the Champions League this season – into “prime R9”.
