West Ham United are eyeing a £35 million deal for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard – and their supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

The Daily Star claim that David Moyes wants the Frenchman to replace Sebastien Haller who joined Ajax last month.

Edouard’s goalscoring form since arriving from PSG has been pretty special. He has found the net 72 times for the Hoops in 151 appearances, registering 35 assists too.

West Ham aren’t likely to be the only suitors for his signature, with Tottenham and Arsenal showing interest previously.

The Hammers are in a fortunate position, however, that they have some cash free to spend during the January window.

West Ham climbed to fourth in the Premier League last night with a win over Crystal Palace and things are looking up.

David Moyes has some cracking players but he’ll want another striker to compete for a place with Michail Antonio.

Following the latest links to Edouard, West Ham fans have been reacting on Twitter.

It would seem some are uncertain as to whether he’d have an impact, whilst others are desperate for him to sign.

Here is what the Hammers fan base are saying as the club is linked with the £19,500-a-week star.
