Pedro Obiang completed 90 minutes in the win over Southampton on Saturday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter praised the quality of his performance.
The Hammers recorded a convincing 3-0 victory against Southampton in their last home game of the season.
They travel to Watford on the final day of the season and went out in style at the London Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side earned three points thanks to goals from Marko Arnautovic (two) and Ryan Fredericks.

A selection of West Ham fans on social media picked out Obiang for his impressive display, as he was an enforcer in the centre of the park.
The central midfielder completed 90 minutes in the league for the first time since February and hasn’t been a regular in the team this campaign under Pellegirni.
But he slotted in comfortable alongside Mark Noble against Southampton and caught the eye.
The 27-year-old has been with West Ham since 2015 and shown some real moments of quality, but has had an inconsistent season this year.
