West Ham fans praise Pablo Fornals after display in Burnley victory
West Ham continued their excellent season with a 2-1 away win against Burnley on Monday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left raving about their star Pablo Fornals for his individual display.
The Hammers recorded a victory at Turf Moor in the Premier League game, as they jumped up to fifth in the table above Tottenham.
With four games remaining in the season, David Moyes’ side are now just three points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea in the race for the Champions League positions.
Chris Wood’s penalty in the 19th minute put Burnley ahead. However, Hammers forward Michail Antonio responded with two quick-fire goals in the first half to ultimately earn the precious three points.
West Ham will feel they should’ve won the game in more comfortable fashion with the amount of chances they had, but were made to suffer a nervous few minutes at the end.

A selection of West Ham on social media were blown away by Spaniard Fornals in tonight’s match.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder caught the eye for a team that played some attractive football against Burnley, and they will firmly believe they can still secure Champions League football for next year.
