West Ham fans praise Arthur Masuaku for latest performance

West Ham completed a 2-0 home victory against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter praised defender Arthur Masuaku for his performance.

The Hammers secured three league points with a win at the London Stadium and can go into the international break pleased.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side scored a goal in each half and his team are beginning to build some decent momentum at the beginning of the season.

Sebastien Haller scored in the first-half inside the penalty area, as he stretched to tap in a cross from Masuaku.

West Ham added a second through Andriy Yarmolenko in the second period, who has had a difficult time after missing after missing the majority of last season with an Achilles injury.

A selection of West Ham supporters picked out Masuaku for special praise on social media for his contribution and he caught the eye.

The 25-year-old defender appears to have cemented his spot as the first-choice left-back in the league and he offers a great attacking threat.

He had plenty of space against Norwich to push forward and provided an excellent cross for Haller’s goal, while he could have had another assist if goalkeeper Tim Krul had not saved a Manuel Lanzini header.
