West Ham are reportedly set to make a move for Bournemouth attacker Callum Wilson – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are hopeful of signing him.
According to the Sun, the Hammers will make an ambitious £35million move for the centre-froward as they are set to miss out on target Maxi Gomez.
It is understood that Wilson is now the number one target for Manuel Pellegrini’s team and they have been long-term admirers of him.
The 27-year-old had a brilliant campaign last year with Bournemouth and is also a senior England international.
Wilson made 33 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring 15 goals and supplying 10 assists in return.
The striker has pace and power to torment Premier League defences, which is why Pellegrini wants him to lead the line next season at the London Stadium.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are delighted about speculation around Wilson and feel he would be a solid addition.
A £35million raid does seem quite ambitious by the Hammers, as he’s a proven striker in England that is hitting the peak years of his career and he still has three years left on his contract.
