West Ham fans hail Nathan Holland for Under-23s performance

Nathan Holland helped West Ham’s Under-23s side beat Valencia ‘B’ on Wednesday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about his performance.

The Hammers saw their youth team beat Spanish opposition Valencia in the Premier League International Cup.

Holland scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory for West Ham, as he slotted in a composed finish after only eight minutes after getting clear of the defender.

The attacker has been at the London Stadium since 2017 and has been a key player at youth level during that time.

He is a left-winger with great pace and trickery, while he’s got an eye for goal too.

Holland has made just one first-team appearance for the Hammers so far and that came back in September 2017 in a League Cup fixture against Bolton.

The 21-year-old is yet to get an opportunity under current senior boss Manuel Pellegrini, but he can only continue impressing and trying to force his way into contention.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media were left raving about Holland following his display on Wednesday.

The dazzling wide player has started the new campaign in good form and his match-winning contribution against Valencia had plenty begging for him to get a senior call-up.
