West Ham fans fume at Arthur Masuaku performance

Arthur Masuaku completed 90 minutes in West Ham’s loss away to Everton – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter voiced their frustrated towards him for his performance.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini watched his side slip to a 2-0 defeat in the Premier League fixture, as they missed the chance to push towards the European spots of the table.

The London club were nowhere near their best on the trip to Merseyside, while hosts Everton rediscovered the kind of form they have been missing for most of this campaign so far.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media were not pleased with how Masuaku performed in the defeat.

With Aaron Cresswell unavailable against Everton due to a minor injury, it left Masuaku as the obvious option at left-back and he had a difficult game.

His defensive weaknesses were once again exploited and Everton winger Theo Walcott continued to give him the run around.

Meanwhile, goalscorer Bernard turned him inside out in the penalty box for his opener and he should have done much more.

The 25-year-old fell massively short of the kind of defensive performance he needs, while his usually impressive attacking side of his game failed to deliver too.
