West Ham fans discuss Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho after Sunday display

West Ham United came within a whisker of throwing away another three-goal lead on Sunday afternoon but managed to hold on to all three points against Leicester City – and Hammers fans have discussed Kelechi Iheanacho.

David Moyes has watched his West Ham side glide into a three-goal lead in their past three Premier League appearances, doing the same against Arsenal and Wolves. Against the Gunners, the game ended 3-3.

West Ham held onto a 3-2 win over Wolves and did the same on Sunday, as they played host to Leicester City – without Declan Rice and Michail Antonio. Jesse Lingard scored twice, while Jarrod Bowen also netted.

Lingard, who is back in the England squad, now has eight goals in nine games for West Ham since joining on loan from Manchester United. But Iheanacho scored a brace to set up another nervy lead for the Hammers and Moyes.

His first, a pile driver from the edge of the area after a mistake from Arthur Masuaku – before it was two in injury time, as the Nigeria international stole in at the back post. The Hammers held on, but Iheanacho left an impression.

West Ham fans have reacted on Twitter to the performance of a player that scored against them twice – and many were very impressed with the £25million (BBC) signing.
