West Ham have reportedly made a bid to try sign Nottingham Forest defender Matty Cash – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter believe he would be a good addition if they could complete a deal for him.
Sky Sports reports that the Hammers have launched a £10million offer for him, which includes £2million in add-ons.
The report details though that there is competition from Premier League rivals Southampton and also Italian giants AC Milan.
Cash is a product of the Forest academy and he’s been transformed from a midfielder into a right-back this season.
He’s helped his team to fourth in the Championship as it stands hunting promotion and he’s been an ever-present in the XI.
The full-back has a tenacious work-rate when defending, while going forward he’s scored two goals and supplied four assists in 30 matches across all competitions.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media believe that new defensive target Cash could be someone capable of making the step up to the top-flight.
There is a lack of serious quality right-back options in the squad, as neither Ryan Fredericks or Pablo Zabaleta have found top form for a consistent amount of time.
