West Ham moved into fourth in the Premier League table with a win on Monday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter praised Jarrod Bowen for his individual performance.

The Hammers recorded a dramatic 3–2 away win at Molineux, as they survived a scare to hold on for three precious points to lift them into the Champions League positions.

David Moyes’ side raced into a three-goal lead during the first half courtesy of goals from Jesse Lingard, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen.

West Ham will have been fearfully remembering the 3-3 Arsenal draw before the international break when Wolves scored two goals to reduce the advantage, but the visitors managed to hold on in the end for victory.

Bowen, who scored what turned out to be the winner, finished off a superb counter-attack with a thunderous effort with his stronger left foot.

The 24-year-old attacker was introduced to the action off the bench during the first half following Michail Antonio’s injury, and made an immediate impact with his goal.

He’s now scored in back-to-back games for the Irons, taking his tally up to seven league goals for the campaign so far.

The attacker appears to be rediscovering some of his best form after a drop-off in 2021.
