West Ham fans blown away by performance of Nathan Holland

Nathan Holland helped West Ham’s Under-23s side record an emphatic victory on Monday night – and some of the club’s supporters were raving about his performance and want to see him in the first-team.

The Hammers produced a clinical display to beat Stoke’s Under-23s side 4-0 at the bet365 Stadium in the Premier League 2 fixture.

Joe Powell opened the scoring for the visitors from long-range, before Holland added a second into the bottom corner inside the opening 11 minutes.

Holland and Anthony Scully scored second-half goals to wrap up three impressive points on the road for the young Irons team.

West Ham have a number of special talents coming through their ranks and they will be hoping to emulate first teamer Declan Rice of breaking into the first-team at the London Stadium.

Holland has been tearing it up at youth level already this season and is a serious goal threat cutting in from the left flank.

The rapid winger has featured once for the senior team so far this campaign in the Carabao Cup defeat to Oxford United and is having to be patient waiting for his next opportunity with the main group;.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media are convinced that manager Manuel Pellegrini should take another look at Holland following his latest outing.
