Manuel Lanzini completed 90 minutes in the home victory against Norwich City on Saturday – and some West Ham fans on Twitter hailed the playmaker for his performance.
Manuel Pellegrini’s team secured a 2-0 win at the London Stadium, with Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko scoring in either half for the hosts.
After being thrashed 5-0 by Manchester City on the opening day of the league season, the Hammers have responded with seven points from their next three games.
They also edged past Newport County in the Carabao Cup and should be in good spirits going into the international break.
West Ham are up to fifth in the table during the early stage of the campaign and travel to Aston Villa in their next match after the break.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media were waxing lyrical about Lanzini following his display against Norwich, with one suggesting he now looks back to his best.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder helped dictate play for the hosts by seeing plenty of the ball and was a real nuisance for opponents to pick up.
He signed a new long-term deal on Friday that keeps him at the London Stadium until 2023 and is looking a vital player under Pellegrini.
The Argentine creator has had some poor luck with injuries in recent years, but looks fresh this campaign and is part of an exciting attacking unit.
