West Ham fans blown away by latest Declan Rice performance

West Ham continued their remarkable form with a win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter picked out Declan Rice as a huge positive from the game.

The Hammers won 3-2 away to Palace in the Premier League fixture, climbing up to fourth in the division table as a result.

David Moyes’ side have now won all six games they’ve played in 2021, four in the Premier League and two in the FA Cup.

Tomas Soucek continued his excellent individual season with two goals against Palace, plus Craig Dawson also netted what turned out to be a decisive third.

They host reigning league champions Liverpool on Sunday in their next match, but go into it with so much confidence around the squad and a real belief that there could be European football at the London Stadium next season.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media believe that Rice deserved a special mention for his latest display.

The 22-year-old goes about his work with such composure and assurance in the centre of the park, while midfield partner Soucek is understandably grabbing the headlines with his goals.

Rice, who has played every league minute this season, is a talisman for Moyes’ team.

Despite being aged 22, he’s the vice-captain for the Hammers and plays with maturity whenever he plays for club or his country England.
