West Ham have turned to Bournemouth hitman Callum Wilson to spearhead their attack next season, according to the Sun.
They report that the Hammers will not be signing striker Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo and have now focused their attention on England international Wilson.
He is apparently valued at £35 million by the Cherries, but that has not stopped West Ham making the striking speedster their number one target.
But earlier this month, West Ham’s local rivals Tottenham were linked with a swoop for Wilson as part of a triple raid on Bournemouth – also by the Sun.

Perhaps a London bidding war could break out over Wilson, but the two clubs would be laying out very different propositions.
West Ham could offer regular football every week in a side now packed full of attacking midfielders, playing attractive football and aiming for the Europa League.
Meanwhile, at Tottenham, he would likely be sat behind Harry Kane, just like he is for England, but of course he would be part of a squad playing Champions League football.
It also seems more likely that West Ham would stump up the cash if there’s a £35 million asking price, and Wilson leading their attack would be a mouth-watering prospect.
