TBR Football understand West Ham are considering a summer move for Tammy Abraham.
Graham Potter will be in need of a new striker once Evan Ferguson returns to Brighton at the end of the season – when the Irishman’s loan spell ends – as Niclas Fullkrug and Michail Antonio are still recovering from injuries at West Ham.
TBR Football understand a permanent deal for the Republic of Ireland international is unlikely to materialise for the Hammers – which has led them to explore other market opportunities.
Now, sources have informed TBR Football that Tammy Abraham is on the radar of West Ham.
West Ham make Tammy Abraham a summer target
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – has now been told the England international is being monitored by West Ham.
Abraham is currently on loan at AC Milan from Roma, although we understand a permanent switch to the San Siro is unlikely after the Italian giants signed Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord in January.
TBR Football are aware the 27-year-old has ambitions of adding to his 13 caps for England, and is keen on a return to the Premier League as he aims to impress Thomas Tuchel ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
West Ham are not the only side keen on bringing Abraham back to England, however.

TBR Football understand Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Everton and Leeds are also keeping tabs on the Camberwell-born striker, who Roma paid £34m to sign from Chelsea back in August 2021.
Abraham has scored eight goals and provided five assists in 33 appearances across all competitions this season.
West Ham also wanted Tammy Abraham – who Harry Kane and Jose Mourinho admire – last summer
TBR Football revealed back in August that West Ham also wanted to sign Abraham last summer – but the Londoner preferred a move to AC Milan at that time.
If the Hammers can bring the Chelsea academy graduate back to London, the move would presumably come with the approval of Harry Kane and Jose Mourinho.
Kane once called Abraham a “great player” in June 2022 – saying: “I think that Tammy is a great player. He’s had a fantastic season at club level, he’s still learning and has experience to gain but every time he comes here he works hard and trains hard.”
Mourinho also praised Abraham after bringing him to Rome, saying: “He knows how happy I am. He knows how much I love the kid and the player. I’m proud of what we are doing and I’m so happy for Tammy.”
