West Ham United Under-18 coach Kevin Keen has singled four players out for praise following the Hammers’ FA Youth Cup victory on Monday afternoon.

The East Londoners ran out 5-0 winners away at Norwich to book their place in the fifth round of the competition.

West Ham were three up at the break thanks to a first-half brace from Ademipo Odubeko and Jayden Fevrier’s third goal in the competition this season.

Although the Canaries were bright at the start of the second half, West Ham were soon dominating again and added further goals via Jamal Baptiste and Kai Corbett.

As a result, West Ham’s U18s can now look forward to their first FA Cup fifth-round draw since the 2011-12 season, which is set to take place on Friday.

Speaking after the game, Keen praised Odubeko, Corbett, Fevrier and Kamarai Swyer for their efforts.

“With the front line we had, with Mipo, Kai, Kamarai and Jayden, we’ve got some really good attacking talent there,” he told the West Ham website.

“I’m grateful to the manager [David Moyes] for letting us have Mipo back in the team for today, and he kicked it off with a couple of good goals.

“At this level, if you’ve got players who can beat people, score goals, play passes like Kamarai’s for the third goal, you’ve always got a chance.”
