David Moyes has labelled that Jack Grealish the best player in the Premier League right now ahead of West Ham’s trip to Aston Villa on Wednesday, in comments reported by Football London.
Grealish has certainly been one of the standout performers in the top flight. Of course, no Villa player did more to keep Dean Smith’s side up last term.

And he has followed that performance up with six goals and nine assists this season. Remarkably, he has already been directly involved in more goals this time around.
So it is perhaps no surprise that Moyes identified Grealish as Villa’s key man when asked about the 25-year-old.

“He is a really improved player, from my point of view probably the best player in the Premier League at the moment in time,” he said, as reported by Football London.
“He has shown what he can do and he has done such a great job for that club, for me, he is playing as well as anyone in the Premier League.”
Moyes will not allow his West Ham players to focus solely on what Grealish could do. Smith’s side are much more dangerous this season.
But Villa will not expect an easy game either. The Hammers were beaten last time out against Liverpool. But the deflation was arguably a sign of the progress that they have made lately.
They had won their previous four in the top flight. And they remain fifth in the table, just four points off the top four.
The Villans have two games in hand over West Ham. But the Irons know that a victory on Wednesday will move them six clear.
And while he is not the only player for Moyes’s men to worry about, keeping Grealish quiet will go a long way to helping West Ham secure a positive result.
