David Moyes’s West Ham United are scouting Antonio Nusa, a player who could be on his way to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.

That is according to a report in SportsLens, which has named another London club who are keen on Nusa.

So, what has been reported about West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Antonio Nusa? Let’s take a look.

West Ham United scouting Tottenham Hotspur target Antonio Nusa

Well, according to journalist Dean Jones in SportsLens, West Ham United are among the clubs who are interested in signing Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge.

The report has claimed that Tottenham are already in talks with Club Brugge over a deal for Nusa. The Belgian outfit could ask as much as £25 million to sell the Norway international forward.

West Ham have scouted Nusa this season, and so have London and Premier League rivals Brentford.

Tottenham could beat West Ham to Antonio Nusa signing

While it is all well and good that West Ham have been scouting Antonio Nusa, it does appear now that the Hammers will miss out on the signing of the forward to London and Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Belgian news outlet HLN has claimed that Spurs are close to striking a deal for the 18-year-old. Tottenham reportedly want to get the transfer done quickly because they expect clubs such as Chelsea to make bids.

Now, of course, we know that when the transfer window is open, anything is possible, but I do not see West Ham able to muscle in on a potential deal now and pay £25 million for an 18-year-old who is not a natural striker and is more of a wide forward.

Nusa has made six starts and eight substitute appearances in the Jupiler Pro League so far this season. Scoring two goals and giving two assists in the process.
