West Ham United and Watford are both interested in the services of Wigan Athletic defender Cedric Kipre according to the Daily Star.
The Championship side was recently plunged into administration amid controversial circumstances and several of their key players are now considered available to help balance the books.
The Star claims that both West Ham and Watford are keen on the Ivory Coast defender and appear willing to make a move for his services.
Kipre would certainly fit the bill of a David Moyes type signing for West Ham, given his pedigree in the Football League and Scotland.

Watford meanwhile need to strengthen at the back after a difficult season in the Premier League and Nigel Pearson would undoubtedly appreciate the 23-year-old’s qualities, having been the manager at Leicester when the Foxes brought Kipre to England from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014.
Kipre is known for his incredible strength and power whilst also being decent with the ball at his feet. Wigan spent a reported (Sky Sports) £1 million on the player in 2018, with manager Paul Cook lavishing praise on the ‘strong, powerful and athletic defender’.
West Ham and Watford are clearly hopeful they can take advantage of Wigan’s current struggled by signing the Ivorian this summer for not much more than that £1 million he cost the struggling Championship side two years ago.
