Liverpool might have edged out West Ham for three points on Monday night but afterwards, goalkeeper Adrian was keen to offer the Hammers support in their battle against relegation.
The Spanish stopper spent six years with West Ham, making 150 appearances and registering 43 clean sheets. During his time with the club, he built up a genuine rapport with supporters.
Now the understudy for Alisson at Anfield, the 33-year-old took to Twitter after Monday’s 3-2 win for the home side, calling for the Hammers to keep battling.
West Ham are currently in the relegation zone and know they must start picking up points quickly. The Hammers haven’t really picked up under David Moyes and their need for a win is becoming increasingly desperate.
Adrian is enjoying a decent season at Anfield and due to injury to Alisson earlier in the season, he has made 15 appearances for the Reds.

Following his passionate tweet towards his former club, the Hammers faithful have been reacting to their former goalkeeper.
The experienced stopper always did a professional job during his time in the capital and clearly West Ham fans haven’t forgotten that.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Hammers supporters in reaction to Adrian’s message of support for his former club.
