Sky Sports claim that a third bid for Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass, worth £6 million, has been turned down by the north-east club. However, the idea of bringing the Scottish international to the London Stadium could be in jeopardy after the International Business Times claimed that Burnley have made a bid worth £7.5 million for the winger.

Snodgrass is contracted to the Tigers until 2018 despite contract talks collapsing with the club recently. He remains the club’s best hope of Premier League survival this season though, and they are understandably reluctant to let him go at any price.

The club are looking to tie down one of their own talents by advancing contract talks with in-from winger Michail Antonio, who is set to see his wage doubled from £35,000 per week to £70,000 per week as the Hammers look to deter interest from Chelsea.

The Guardian claim that the new deal will see him commit to the club until 2022. It will be a fine reward for his good form which has seen him score eight goals so far this season and earn his first England call-up, when former boss Sam Allardyce was in charge of the Three Lions.

One man who is less popular with fans at the moment is Dimitri Payet, who the Daily Mail report is now back in training, but with the under 23s squad. Payet has demanded a move, claiming that the illness of his wife and homesickness of his children have forced him to request a return to France.

With a lengthy deal worth £125,000 per week, it is in the interest of all parties to come to some kind of agreement, but the Irons are still demanding a bid of at least £30 million before considering selling him to Marseille.
