West Bromwich Albion are one of a number of clubs reportedly considering a move to sign Southampton attacker Michael Obafemi this summer – and Baggies fans have reacted on Twitter to the link.
Obafemi, 20, has spent the last four seasons at Southampton and only made his debut at senior level in January 2018. He has since managed 33 appearances in all competitions for Southampton, scoring five goals.
The one-time Ireland international enjoyed his best season yet last term, making 21 appearances in the Premier League under Ralph Hasenhuttl and scoring three goals, including strikes against Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Sun claim that his form last season has attracted interest from both West Brom and Aston Villa, with Obafemi potentially looking elsewhere given the Saints also boast Shane Long, Che Adams and Danny Ings.
Obafemi is no stranger in moving clubs, having hopped and skipped between London-based sides during his youth. He spent time at Arsenal, Chelsea, Watford and Leyton Orient before his move to Southampton.
West Brom supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that they could consider a move for Obafemi, who is rated at £10million. Many are seemingly keen to sign him, but are wary of the eight-figure price.
