West Brom failed to beat Millwall at home for the second time in a matter of days and were knocked out of the EFL Cup last night.
The Baggies went down 2-1 to the London club, when debutant Charlie Austin’s opening goal was cancelled out by Tom Bradshaw before Aiden O’Brien clinched the win.
It means that Slaven Bilic’s reign has got off to a faltering start but perhaps means that the club can at least focus on the Championship.
But Oliver Burke has not impressed the supporters following on from his loan spell at Celtic last season, with many taking to Twitter in the aftermath of the match to criticise his display.
Many of them want the Scotsman out of the club after a performance that was not up to standard in the eyes of the supporters – in terms of quality or work-rate.
There is a feeling that they don’t want to see Burke given many more chances and some would like to see him sold before the transfer window closes across Europe on September 2.
Don’t want to see Burke in the 18 again.

Shocking result, Millwall have done a job on us twice in 4 days.
Our play was great, but once Austin went off we lost a strikers presence and our direct play. Burke is finished in my eyes, terrible positioning, terrible dribbling, terrible passing and a touch worse than Rondons!

Burke is useless, does not offer anything to the team

That was painful, by the way get Burke as far away from this club as possible please he’s useless x

I’d love to have watched Burke for 90 minutes, I bet he did bugger all as usual. Get him out of this club Slav.

Hopeless. Too many players where tonight should have been their opportunity to show what they can do were anonymous. Burke, how/why did we pay £15m for him

I’ve backed Burke a long time hoping he will come good but last night I’ve realised is the final straw. Lack of care he shows and didn’t even jump for a couple of crosses when you are a centre forward. Just go. #wba

Having Burke in the starting 11 is like playing with 10 men, he’s so lazy and spineless #WBA
