West Brom fans react on Twitter to Okay Yokuslu’s display

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to laud Okay Yokuslu following the midfielder’s superb performance in their defeat to Everton on Thursday.

Yokuslu has been a really good addition to Sam Allardyce’s squad following his arrival on loan in January. And he stepped up once again at the Hawthorns.

Unfortunately for the Baggies, it proved to be a disappointing night overall. A Richarlison goal during the second-half proved to be the difference between the two sides. Mbaye Diagne had a stoppage-time equaliser ruled out for an offside.

Nevertheless, Yokuslu appeared to be a standout performer for the home side. As shown by Whoscored.com, he boasted the best pass-success rate of any starter from either side.

His composure on the ball seems to have made a big difference. And plenty of Baggies fans have implored the club to do all they can to ensure that he stays beyond the end of his loan.

Of course, much may depend on what division West Brom are in next season. Certainly, his form since arriving in the Premier League will not help the Baggies stop other admirers registering an interest.

But the supporters clearly feel that he must be a priority for the summer window.
