West Brom fans react on Twitter to Daryl Dike reports

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Express and Star claiming that the Baggies are interested in Daryl Dike.

The Baggies have been shrewd in the transfer market so far. They have completed a couple of free transfers, and have brought Matt Clarke in on loan.

And it seems that another loan may be on the cards before the close of the window.

According to the Express and Star, the club are keen on Dike. And Orlando City would be open to letting him leave temporarily for a big fee.

Valerien Ismael knows Dike from his time at Barnsley. The 21-year-old scored nine in 19 while on loan at Oakwell last season.

Unfortunately for the Tykes they were unable to trigger the option to make his deal permanent. And it seems that the American could now emulate Alex Mowatt and follow Ismael to the Hawthorns.

Certainly, there are plenty of West Brom fans who would be delighted with such a deal.

Dike’s career record is outstanding. And he has scored twice in four appearances since returning to Major League Soccer.

Several supporters have implored the club to get a deal done. He knows Ismael’s style and has proved that he can score goals in the Championship.
